26.10.16 - New from MetAI Labs: Shuire, an AI That Reviews Your Press Release Before You Send It
Shuire, now in MetAI Labs, runs 20 checks and an editor-style review on your press release and tells you what to fix — and why.
We have added Shuire to MetAI Labs, where we release new services from our R&D early. Shuire (朱入れ) is the Japanese word for marking up a manuscript with a red pen — and that is what the AI does to your press release before it goes out.
The problem
- You have written it, but is it clear? What should you change?
- Distribution-site listings only show about the first 45 characters of the headline
- Unsupported claims like “industry-best” and mistyped figures are easy to miss
Key features
- How it looks in the listing: the first 45 characters of your headline on a manuscript grid
- 20 automatic checks: headline, lead, body and risks such as unsupported superlatives
- An editor’s review: Claude quotes your text to explain what works and what to fix
- Headlines and rewrites: clearer versions that keep the same facts
- Before/after comparison: score changes and the checklist items that changed, at a glance
- Figure alerts: any number that changed in the rewrite is flagged
- Import and export: load Word, PDF, text or a URL; save as Word or text
- Safe on stage: blur unpublished drafts with one click
Three steps
- Load your draft
- AI reviews it
- Compare the improved version with the original
On one of MetAI’s own past releases, the rule score went from 72 to 89. The app is available in Japanese, English and Spanish.
Pair it with Prespon, which enters your release into PR TIMES for you, to go from review to submission in one flow.
